I'm a Montana-native transplant to Oregon, though I've been here almost a decade now. When I'm not working on software, I enjoy playing tabletop RPGs or other games with friends. I live with one cat that's too smart for her own good.
I attended Montana State University, where I dual-majored in Applied Mathematics and Math Education with minors in Computer Science and Physics Education.
I taught high-school math in rural Montana for a few years before moving to Portland to get a Master's in Computer Science at Portland State University. I'm still passionate about mentoring and education.
While at PSU, I was a research assistant in the Parallel Performance Lab. I also volunteered with the Computer Action Team, doing Linux sysadmin and networking.
I worked on MediaStore and MediaConvert at AWS Elemental. These days, I'm building enterprise-scale serverless solutions at Momento.
